Oh. My. FREAKING. Yum!!!!!!!
Yes - just YES!! Everything we had here was incredible. Seriously. Wow.
DRINKS:
I got the Arawak cup - tastes like mango/passion fruit juice. I hate rum & can't taste it at all. My bf got the three dots and a dash (pictured). I tried it - good, but can taste the alcohol.
FOOD:
Totchos & puffy taco (carnitas). YUM YUM YUM YUM YUM YUM! Omg. Yum!!!! Do yourself a favor & order these. Wowza. So flavor-packed & absolutely delicious. I'm in love (and, admittedly, slightly intoxicated).
ATMOSPHERE:
We sat outside on a lovely day & watched our happy surroundings. Service was great.
Worth the visit while in the Ballard area!! -

I love this place. Tiki bar with friendly bartenders meets restaurant with countless vegan and vegetarian options. I was surprised to see they had so many vegan options that weren't listed online, so I snapped a picture of the menu.
The drinks were good and reasonably priced, and the bartender made me a custom drink (Saturn). Overall, great experience. Will be back. -

We came here first on a Sunday night because they have a happy hour that goes until 7 and it was raining in July and we didn't want to walk too far. It was mostly empty and we were quite pleased w/ our $2 tacos, $5 bowl of chili, and the ridiculously delicious chili chili bang bang slushy & then the band showed up-- which was a fun surprise.
And then we were warned that this place is a mad-house and a total hipster/bro zone normally. But then we got hungry again and it was a Tuesday so we decided to give it another try and had another good experience. So we'll be back for a 3rd time, and beyond, I'm sure.
Bottom line: tasty/homey/reasonably priced food (w/ lots of veggie options!) & great tiki drinks. If you've ever wished you could find a decent pain killer in this city, well now you know where to come. But, their house drinks are great too. -

I'm on a quest to explore all the cocktail bars in the Seattle area and upon friend recommendations, I decided to check this spot out. The space itself is pretty big, but it does get busy. The ambiance is not your traditional classy cocktail bar, but it has more of a regular bar type of vibe. I came on a weeknight night, but I was able to get my party of 9 seated!
The drinks were good and not overpriced! The menu was diverse and they even had large format drinks, which I partook in. Not only are the drinks good, the puffy tacos they sell are pretty great as well. They are basically deep fried flatbread taco shells, or chalupas. If you want to save a little, order from the window outside to save yourself on paying for the tip.
Overall, a fun spot to grab a cocktail or four from! This spot can accommodate slightly larger groups, but it does get pretty busy. I'd recommend giving it a try at least once! Don't be fooled by the 3.5 star rating. -

I have decided this spot is not a dinner spot but more of a drinks spot with yummy puffy tacos while you drink. We came on a wed night around 6pm and it was pretty empty, just a couple people at the bar drinking. I have also been here on Friday/ Saturday nights when it's been packed. The drinks are pretty fun and yummy. The food however, is not great besides the puffy tacos. The coconut curry we got didn't say it had mushrooms on the menu and my bf hates mushrooms and didn't order one of the other noodle dishes because the menu stated it had mushrooms. So not great, the curry was pretty much mushroom soup. Not a fan either even though I don't mind mushrooms. Overall- come for the good drinks and grab a puffy taco. Also never tried the poke in the front but heard it wasn't bad.
